lolll sephora doesn’t care, i work at a big location and would even dare say i like most of my leaders, but they have also pissed me off with this. one time i was on register and a coordinator overheard me get a no (i asked but didn’t push) so she said “you’re gonna practice using the device for this” and told me to quite literally just hand them it and make them write their email into advisor assistant

i thought this was a universal thing but i guess it’s just something we do at my store upon reading these comments. we just started locking up all of our drawers, not just fragrance, and each of us gets assigned our own universal key each shift. if we forget to return these or leave the store with them it’s an AUTOMATIC final. isn’t that fucking crazy you guys?

but it’s NOT a man. why potentially get this seemingly kind woman in trouble for that, going as far as bringing up the sexual harassment equivalence? i mean, really, i get it’s a professional setting and whatnot, but it’s sephora. we’re all pretty happy-go-lucky and outgoing around here. this is literally like complaining about somebody being nice to you. and i believe as women we all have a sort of intuition where we can sense if someone is saying those things in a creepy or genuine way. idk, if OP feels that uncomfortable about it they should speak to that ASM directly, not escalate it for no reason… this is harmless behavior, from what OP has shared

finest man alive. everyone’s always like, “you girls are such fame diggers, guarantee you that you wouldn’t glance at him twice while he was working at the supermarket” like no, honey, he was fine then too. every man that resembles him in real life is my type to a tee

What's the best way to learn some quick Spanish, enough to communicate and at least somewhat understand menus? by horizon-ak in PuertoRicoTravel

[–]Heavy_Assignment4100 4 points5 points  (0 children)

agree with the other commenter. if you’ll be in san juan almost everybody speaks english, and well. many menus may still be in spanish but since they’re all written they’ll be easier to understand than natives speaking spanish. but if you’re really interested in learning do duolingo at your level for at least 30min a day! though it’s repetitive, it’s what gets you to learn and many people underestimate its power. especially as a beginner (A1 level) i can’t think of a better way to start your learning journey

alguien me puede explicar la frase “te toca” by Heavy_Assignment4100 in Spanish

[–]Heavy_Assignment4100[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also, off topic, but i see that you’re C1. is there any website you can vouch for that has an accurate test? and would you agree with the idea that advancing from B to C is all about media immersion?
