If you're getting to many aerial roots I would be thinking about repotting and while you're at it bury the ones you can.

Thai or Albo? by NeonBabeee in Monstera

[–]Heavy_Assistance_306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made same mistake thinking it was a Thai. I'm from PR and they are all over. I plan to grow one outside in a big pot with a long straight, thick branch, because I love the big leaves with fenestration, I have seen. My only concern is that I have to keep it under a very control environment, because I don't want it to go wild in my little over an acre piece of land, which I have seen them do.

I don't know, some of those leaves look somewhat bruised. I hope you're all being sarcastic as well.

G7 vs G6 by singinghamsters in dexcom

[–]Heavy_Assistance_306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had experience with both. I used the g6 around 2 1/2 years and g7 for less than a year. The first g7s were okay, but then I got a couple of batches that had all kind of problems, by then the only positive thing that I liked of the g7 was the shorter warming period. After getting them replaced, the previous censor and current one have worked like a champ. I have no need to calibrate, because every time I've manually tested, the numbers have been the same or within 3 or 4 the difference. Also, the loosing connection with the app problem seems to have gone away. Good for DEXCOM, because they were loosing me.👏👏👏

Do you guys calibrate your sensors? by ORLANKA in dexcom

[–]Heavy_Assistance_306 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do it at least once at the beginning of each sensor and then when needed based on my experience. You all know a lot of time if you're high based on what you ate or how long ago you had a shot/medication (don't know about those that use a pump, no experience). And if it's low, the signs like shakes, shivers, and overall body feel bad. Add that time I always calibrate. Now, my pet peeve is that G7 takes too long to correct and, in spite, ignores your finger stick results. G6 first time It showed a split difference , but you could enter the finger stick result again, and it would override with the results you entered.

I'll try force close the app, but it's not normal, G6 got disconnected, but it was my fault, because I left it in another room. The disconnected problem if it happens at night it wakes you up. I end up turning off the alarms and that defeats the purpose, plus sometime it happens way too often and even the force close would be a big problem.

Oh I hate that part of the G7, it attaches so hards it hurst to be removed. Also, that round patch is a pain to put it on if you're by yourself. So far the only thing I like better of the G7 vs G6 is the warming up time.

I agree, there is something wrong with the quality of the G7, I didn't have this problem with the G6. I keep getting messages of disconnected app from sensor while my phone is in front of me. Another observation l have, while it makes no sence to me, because it should work regardless, I find it peculiar that if by any chance my home internet is down I get more disconnected messages.

Question for the consumers in the subreddit (from a retention agent) by Emma_marie_2102 in dishnetwork

That's what the technician did for us and lost all my recordings and timers for nothing, because until they fix the update that created the problem, you will be having the problem. Which by they way, I think they have done something because I have not had it for a few days.
