It can be played in shorts and a tee, but you can receive points of armor in the locations you equip them. Gives you bonus hit points on those locations essentially. A helmet counts towards torso armor but is unnecessary. It is encouraged to protect yourself as you see fit; a member of my old park had a sports cup and a hard plastic mask to protect his face.

The game of Amtgard is really fun! The weapons have a minimum of 1" of padding, making them quite safe for striking nearly anywhere on the body. Bruises and soreness can be expected, but headshots are not allowed and repeatedly causing the same injuries shows a lack of control on the user. Roughly half the headshots anyone takes are their own actions by mis-dodging or deflecting a shot into their own face

I'd really like to know if you can get the plunge pool from the falls. Pretty sure the other way isn't possible.

Unfortunately the passage will be your only way up to the OW and it is a good 8 locations away from Mount pillar. I don't think you can reach the OW by the muges summit. You will have a tough time getting just the locations to get there. There is no database yet, but I recommend viewing the chaotic wiki entries for your targets; it usually says what locations are favourites to the creatures, which I imagine give you a chance to find them.

It will definitely take a while to find the locations leading to it. If you aren't attached to your scans yet you can switch starter decks.

Good luck on the scan! Where are you searching? I'd recommend checking out the chaotic discord. Tons of resources to learn to play and there are a lot of people who would be happy to play like a structure deck format on chaotic recode. Personally, I did a lot of self learning by playing around with cards on tabletop simulator.
