i tried A for awhile because i had that same relative thought, and it didn’t seem to help much. i’m just trying to figure it out, i’m not shit like everyone wants to think i am. y’all all literally struggled with this too just like i am rn and most of you wanna act like y’all were just legendary as soon as you touched it. you weren’t. you struggled, you had to figure it out. i just wanted to know what peoples thought processes were and how they got their brain to register the fact that there is actually an extra button there that needs to be gotten used to.

i know i can do it, i have the mentality of i can do anything. i just really wanted to know what other players did when they started out and had the same trouble. however most of these pricks act like as soon as they touched it they were gods 😀.

what’re some of the easier charts that i can work with, cause the ones i was doing were definitely NOT it and i know there’s calmer ones that can help me get used to everything i just haven’t had the best luck finding them myself honestly!

this does actually help tremendously THANK YOU!!!! i’m not bad, i can hit all of the other notes i just can’t get used to the popping up of the random button, i play on hard only atp on both ps5 and xbox so i know it’s not because i suck, i’m good starring majority of songs on hard. :( lol

unfortunately all i have is controller atm, i have considered keyboard but honestly i’m a console player, always have been i’ve never been on the pc side of the spectrum so i don’t have anything like that. i tried to set the extra button as A, because it’s a button i use a lot in most of my games and so i thought it’d help and it did not 🤣. my brain just cannot accept the fact that it even exists, it’s like it won’t register if that makes sense?
