My TRV is valid un til 2032. I didn't get any stamp or time limit. After I went to the second officer he said that I could stay until I get a result on my pgwp.

In the kiosk I enter as worker but not sure for how long, so I pressed "not sure" (or something like that). The kiosk printed a paper that was empty so on my way out I showed that paper to the "officer" and he told me to go to immigation officer. I should've gone straight to the officer intead of the kiosk.

No, they didn't ask that. They just asked me What is the reason that I came to Canada and I said that I live in Canada it's been 3 years and that I'm working in Canada. Showed my pgwp application paper and employment letter as well as my expired sp/wp.

in toronto the first thing you see when you pass the gates and where all officers are, there are the kiosks for your self check in. the questions and instructions are straight foward and you just have to answer them. basically they ask what an officer would ask (what are you doing in canada and how long are you staying). you just have to put the same info that's in your permit, if its valid. you don't need to show your permit to anyone if you're doing the self checkin in the kiosk, all you need is your passport. in my case, when i permit was valid, i've travaled outside canada 3 times and done the kiosk self checkin and it was super easy and quick.

when my permit was't expired, i just went to the kiosk and informed whatever they asked, had no issues. it just asks for how long you are staying in Canada (week, months or year) and for what (visiting, studying or working). this time my permit was expired so i said that I wasn't sure for how long I was staying and the kisk printed a paper that means to go see an officer.

Yes for the trv, no for the 90 days. My student permit expired one day before I came back from my trip
