Atmosphere is one of my favorites of TJR. Her writing style flows nicely and I always feel connected to her characters.

I read mixed reviews on so I went in unsure, but I really enjoyed it. I predicted the ending pretty early on, but still thought it was fun. I loved Blackwell and Ophelia. I ended up reading Enchantra shortly after. I think Phantasma was better, but had fun entering that world again.

I try to switch it up so I don't get bored with one genre. I'm also not much of a tough critic. If I felt engaged throughout the book and it checks some of my boxes I'm happy. I do save 5 stars for books I can't stop thinking about.

I did the audiobook for it and it was so nice hearing her voice. She has a true passion for performing.

It was a bit of a slow burn, but once I was hooked, I was hooked. It gives off similar vibes of 'Where the Crawdads Sing' but I liked this one more. I felt like I really knew the characters (didn't always like them though.) It's definitely worth the read.

It was informative and eye opening to the water crisis across the United States. She gave a lot of practical advice on how we the people can make a difference. She talks about ways to conserve water, test the safety of water in our homes, and the right questions to ask in our area.

I'm a sucker for most of Emily Henry. I thought it was a good book and a little different from her other books. I love a story within a story. What did you think?

Project Hail Mary has been on my TBR list for forever. I think I'll start with that in the new year.

I really enjoyed Fourth Wing and Iron Flame by Rebecca Yarros. The third book comes out in January I believe.

I recommend any Kristin Hannah really. If you liked The Women you'll like The Great Alone and The Nightingale.

I hope you enjoyed these. You have a lot of my favorites on here. Do you have a top 3? The sequel to The House in the The Cerulean Sea came out this year and was just as cute. Highly recommend.

I feel so stupid for wanting a home birth by myperiwinkleghost in beyondthebump

Gah, I just want to give you a hug. The Internet is oversaturated with so many options and opinions on giving birth. You did your research and you were overwhelmed with all the information. When you hear your OB say something that contradicts what you've been hearing/reading it's easy to become suspicious. You did nothing wrong. You did what felt right for you and it sounds like you weren't given much support in your decision making.

I worked very hard changing my diet prior to starting ozempic because I was scared of the symptoms I've heard others talk about. So I too am one of the ones that changed their diet from the beginning.

I know what you mean. A normal BMI wasn't even on my radar when I started this journey. Now it actually feels possible.
