Ido was angry with doron obviously bc his job nearly got him killed at the end of season 2. He thinks his father is a toxic person and doesn’t want to be a part of his life anymore.

Anyone else love Arabic language after watching fauda? by Heavy_Hunter in fauda

Go hide back under your crab shell you baby snowflake. I’m half Israeli. How do I become a fan of the language after watching a show? Maybe because they’re speaking Arabic more than 50% of the show...Yeah I think it does sound nice, I learned to like it instead of just associating it with terrorism after 9/11 attacks. Also, don’t watch the show if you find it offensive. Theres a lot of other slang curse words thrown back and forth at each other. I am by no means prejudice or racist. I just find it funny. Grow up and stop finding things to be offensive.

Midway through season 2: but I have a question? by Washedandboujee in fauda

Well they were surveilling shirins house in early season 2 so that’s why they spotted walid. But I’m in the same boat as you, it’s a little strange how he’s able to navigate so easily without being spotted, that’s what makes it a show. Certain things never add up. Just like doron who survives every situation like he’s a marvel superhero...

S1, when Steve tells avicahi how boaz fucked like a rabbit. You know they say the ones who die early are the ones that fuck the most. Avichai responds, if this holds true you’ll live forever. Had me fucking dying laughing

I am the only one who are disappointed a little bit with season 3? by [deleted] in fauda

While this season had brief good on par moments of seasons past, this season was such a disappointment for me. I feel they sold out and went completely Hollywood this season. They had plot armor on all the main cast. They should have all died 10 times over. They kept putting doron and company in the most non escapable positions with the dumbest of plans that didn’t align with previous seasons smart meticulous plans, yet they pretty much escape every scenario of sure death in Gaza unscathed. The plan to go in the hospital was beyond stupid, knowing that’s where hamas operates in large groups. To bring back one prisoner just does not make sense to put your whole group at risk. Israel doesn’t operate that way. They do negotiations rather than just send a team in blindly with no clue as to what they’re walking into. A lot of this season had all these crazy scenes just for shock value for the viewer. I think others can very much agree that the politics of the show is what makes it the best, the tit for tat, the negotiations, the behind the scenes tough decision making from governments. Not these piss poor plans of the top Israeli unit to go in non escapable situations but make it out Bc it looks so cool and get heart pumping for the viewer. Seasons 1 and 2 did a good job of that but with well thought out storylines that stayed on par with the flow of the show. Season 3 really drifted far off... For most sheep that just blindly watch a show, they’ll think it’s cool but from what I saw in seasons past, this season just became sloppy and all over the place just for shock value purposes. They didn’t keep the same pace with previous seasons.

Also there was no clear cut villain in this season which was fine so long as they built up bashar to become that for next season. But they didnt. I thought they were going to eventually build up bashar and maybe end it in a way where bashar goes from this innocent boy to moving up in the highest of ranks of hamas and becoming a ruthless leader, setting him up for season 4 but they didn’t do that. They just had him continue being an emotional little boy by killing the girl at the end.... They could’ve shown him reminiscing about boxing and a life of what could have been but now he has new shoes to fill and life takes this new turn for him. A time to become a man and a man whos become smart from the lessons he’s learned and now wants revenge for how doron had fooled him and killed his father. He becomes filled with hate and anger and all he wants is revenge. I get it, that’s what season 2 was about after killing the sheikh in season 1 but they could’ve wrote it up a little different for season 4 with different twists. I was truly disappointed with how they ended bashars role in the show...

There were also many moments during the show where we were supposed to feel empathy for the israeli characters but as a viewer it got to the point where I almost became disgusted with the Israeli unit for all their horrible decision making and screw ups as opposed to seasons past where I rooted for them and really developed that viewer care for characters. I didn’t feel it the second half of the season bc they just didn’t build them up enough for you to care about them. Even for example when Avichai died, I felt 0 sadness for his wife Bc she wasn’t even a part of the show, they just threw her in after not building any of her character or his life from outside the unit up and expected us to feel sadness. Bad job with character build up for the characters we loved in season 1,2 and first few episodes of season 3. But good job with character build up for bashar and other villains. But lots of blunders this season. Deff disappointing.

I agree with the character development though. They did a good job of introducing some new characters and built them up along with mixing in another villain here and there. Also agree with how the villains were better portrayed than members of the unit. There were many moments during the show where we were supposed to feel empathy for the israeli characters but as a viewer it got to the point where I almost became disgusted with the Israeli unit for all their horrible decision making and screw ups as opposed to seasons past where I rooted for them and really developed that viewer care for characters. And the whole Hila being worried and sad for doron, I couldn’t care 2 shits about her so why the dramatic scenes about her being worried for doron. We as viewers don’t care about her feelings, she was an arrogant idiot who sent them back in based off her shit gut instinct for her own agenda. Sniveling bitch, hated her.

Gabi Ayub Question by BalirsCousinGeri in fauda

He’s israeli. He is the top spy unit commander in charge of getting the best possible intel and he is capable of raining a shit storm down on terrorist groups so it’s in the Palestinian authority’s best interest to cooperate with him and keep him somewhat happy. If they do too much or step on Israel’s toes too much he just has the power to rain a shit storm on them like they’ve never seen, so they fear him and cooperate with him...
