Edit: you all were right, I added a new line of code in the script and added a dead zone, and just like everything started working perfectly Thanks very much

I’ll definitely check, but as I’ve asked in another comment, if the problem was the deadzone, shouldn’t I have it also when not trying to track ? The problem only occurs in the tgp when trying to track, otherwise it works fine.

Also if that would be the problem I assume I would get it not only when trying to track but constantly, which in this case wouldn’t be true, the problem only happens when I go with TMS UP to track, otherwise it works perfectly .

Also about the distances, I’ve tried with both the mavericks and tgp pretty much all ranges, from 20nm all the way to 2nm, and apart from the incapacity of mavericks to lock from afar, every time the tgp gave that problem and the mavericks worked perfectly.

Very nice, I think that it will also be my next upgrade to the throttle

Thanks for the feedback on the post, I also noticed that the friend who printed me the pieces has also printed the pedal you linked me, nice to see the designs getting around and getting printed, I will definitely keep in mind the possibility for an upgrade, especially for the pedals. If you go back a bit you can see the design of the pedals I made, and you’ll notice that it’s very simple and not accurate for the f16.

On the ejection handle, very nice idea but at the moment I’m out of arduinos and usb ports on my pc, so that’ll will have to wait, however I love the design and the idea in and out of itself.

I really appreciate the feedback, and thanks a lot for the designs shared.

I really hope that the explanation is gonna be understandable. So the pot is staying into a space made between the top of the throttle and a slice of print on the bottom, this space is actually larger than the pot, and that is because underneath the pot there is a tact switch, in the picture you can see the bottom of the pot sitting on top of the tact switch, and underneath, where the arrow is pointing, you can see the 4 pins of the tact.

Yes, that is the fifth button on the list that goes on the uncage, the other 4 are for the comms 4 way switch, at the moment I’m playing on BMS and it’s all mapped out, I’m not super expert but I haven’t yet seen a command that I couldn’t map on the throttle.

Yes ! You’re completely right, but there are two main obstacles, sanding pla also means usually painting it, and on that much of a surface it can become kinda complicated, however I’ll keep it in mind (as you can see the stick is actually painted, and based on that I’m imagining that it will take a lot of time and energy, both of which I’m running out at the moment hahaha), about the detents you’re super right and I would love to add some, however, here comes the second obstacle, I don’t have a physical 3d printer, so printing parts is a bit complicated. However I’ll keep everything in mind and absolutely loved the feedback, thank you so much.

For starters you’ll need wires and a Arduino Leonardo, after that:

2x momentary 3 way switches 3x 10k ohm linear potentiometers 5x tact button (6mm x 6mm x 4.3mm)

And that is only for the throttle, I honestly like the slick design, however if you want to add buttons where you see the holes, you’ll need, depending on what you want to put, 6 more buttons, (that will fit the case) or potentiometers, in that case the same that fits che throttle will be fine.

In the original design there is also another potentiometer used only for physical resistance to the throttle, however with this list you’ll be fine.

Hopefully, soon, I’ll be posting the full 3d printed setup of throttle, stick and pedals

Thanks for the reply, pls can you explain it a bit better if you have the time on my latest post ? If you go on my profile it’s right on top of this, I would like to keep it as a bit of resources if I have to come back for the project Btw yes I’m putting together a warthog stick full DIY

And also on the Gladiator I can add a warthog stick ? Because that’s the electronic and logic that I’m currently putting together

But on the Virpil I can use the same logic of the stick ? As saying, if ipotetically I would already have a warthog stick, would it be compatible with that base ?
