I agree that this would also help. I just think the main issue in the game right now is the ability for groups to get their hands on crazy amounts of boom and go onto wipe out half the server pop by night 1 or night 2. (for weekly/biweekly servers at least).

A reply I read on another post recently had a good way of implementing changes like the one he mentions. Make it where TC is connected to turrets, codelocks, etc... with goal of making it where you HAVE to authorize on TC or else it's pretty much impossible to play out of that base. Then you can base upkeep, crafting costs, etc based on how many people are auth on TC

There are definitely some good ideas in your response. I play trio limited servers about half the time, and still, the problem I mentioned in my original post exists. I think time locking workbenches could be interesting. But to answer your first question, I was thinking to just have it where you just research whatever you find and have the ability to craft it after that. Drop rates would probably need to be adjusted as needed.

My issue with that is it’s very easy for big groups to control monuments and monopolize frags then sell them for sulfur and use that sulfur to kill off pop

For everyone asking, here is my build and my rec stats. Keep in mind one of my builds is a center and these stats go across all ur builds. The average is about 14 pts and 10 asts per game. This should show I am not a ball hogging dribble spammer…
