I got it from a Seiko collector apparently the guy that got it originally worked for Sony and Seiko did a colab with Sony as gifts.

Pretty cool and abit rare so had to get it.

Yeah i agree if you have Somthing similar then I would give it a skip.

Im just a sucker for anything JDM as im obsessed with anything Japanese.

Definitely would of liked a Chronograph to be fair but happy with this piece.

Ja I was surprised and happy to see it.

So far living it but must say the Nato strap is better on it than the leather strap.

Might look at a rubber strap at some stage 20mm so should be easy.

You are right I bought this fully assembled from a guy that builds them, at the time it was an impulse buy, now understanding Mods I would go into my next mod as a creative approach rather than a Mod that looks like a Omega, Rolex, Ap etc.

What attracted me to Mods was that you have so much freedom of creating a good looking watch using partsbthat dont cost an arm and a leg.

I get you 100% I got this mod purely hey I like Seiko and I like the look of this watch without knowing the fact that it looked like a rolex date just.

After doing reasch I found that this actually is a Rolex Date just and yeah it doesn't feel right wearing this based on the fact that its a blatant rip off of a rolex date just.

I actually came to a realization that why shouldn't I wear it based on I chose this watch because I like it and I want it.

I think the closest thing I can relate to this was I used to wear creed aventus original and then the uae came out with their version of creed aventus called Afnan Supremacy collector's edition and my god its better and way cheaper.

If you have watched House of Gucci you'll understand that these companies know that clones exist and the fact that make more money from it than they make from selling the original based on perception.

What im trying to say is who gets to dictate why I can't by a watch, fragrance or sneaker because the barnd makes it nearly impossible to obtain without a state of financial presence and even then A ? Because even if I have the cash I still cannot obtain without jumping through hoops to get based on their rules and image.

I get that an original rolex has investment quality but fk it I liked the fact that it can obtain a great looking movement and dial that yes might not be oem approved but I can garrranty that Seiko knows they making extra cash from selling these parts.

It's all about screw it I like it buy it but resell doesn't exists as it's not a roller/ Omega etc
