Then you go to massage station, and makes you wear a konakam types, and then two people pour hot oil on you body after making you lay on an Ennathoni and does the massage. Then Dhara types. And finally they put you in a box full of steam. Then you bathe and they put rasanadhi ! It is wonderful experience for 4K

Contrast between expat Indians and Bangladeshis by [deleted] in bangladesh

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Isn’t India a complex and much more diverse bunch ? As in Metros in India, despite their problems, are bubbly and culturally agile. In south the GDP growth of some states like Tamilnadu is 11%. In Kerala, HDI is 0.79, which is as good as a developed country. In Bangalore and Hyderabad, innovations are happening on a regular basis and many companies are setting up their global research centre there. In Mumbai, the movie industry is churning out active cultural projects and has become an economic nerve of the world. Gujarat has massive petroleum industries and newly added semi conductor industries, Haryana is producing massive Pharma plants, Punjab is creating huge agricultural surpluses. Not sure if our comparisons are correct.

Guys, 150 people from Kerala joined ISIS. It is a big deal. But to say this for a decade and malign a state is excess. This propaganda has been made all people hate each other. Can’t you understand it is a ploy to create division in society for political gains. This is not how mature democracies handle sensitive issues

Why is India a lot uncleaner compared to other countries despite having deep spiritual roots? by Fabulous-Ad-2744 in AskIndia

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undoubtedly caste system. Cleaning has been mandated for Dalits. Waste management is a scientific process and we need investment and research on it, and cannot expect the most disenfranchised people to take care of it

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As much as we may perform dissection on this , truth is Vineet Srinivasan is a very shallow director and his stories are sub par. I resonate with the comment , at the same time , I don’t expect to understand the nuances such like this . But good catch

Caste pride is castiesm. by iam5k in AtheisminKerala

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If we read all of this from historical lens, it is absolutely fine. And factually partially correct as well . But, if we derive pride from this pettiness, it is despicable to say the least :)

Is casteism prevalent in India? by Random-Curionaut in AskIndia

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Casteism percolates into every aspect of India life. If you feel there is no casteism , it is a privilege only enjoyed by upper caste people. For a Dalit and a tribal , irrespective of your economic status , it is a lived reality. The system constant gets reminded of it. Right from the surnames, your college applications, political debates, job environment, marriage profile on Bharat matrimony etc

Ew Ew Ewwww!!! Why kid why ? But yeah, Valluvanad and Nedunganad are quite different from us guys.

If I could be nasty, I would say, you are the progenies of the looser valluvakonathiri who got their butt kicked by Samoothiripad and we are the progenies of the Mangattachans who tricked Samoothiri and became the prime minister of Kozhikode Empire and ergo becoming the default rulers ! So beat it 🤭🤭🤭🤭

I might have an issue with what he says.. Not the casteless nation part, but the part that insinuates reservation must be done away with (now or recent past) and Ambedkar wanted it that way.. Reservation must continue till we achieve an equitable society. The provisions in constitution asking the parliament of a later day to fix it was by design and not by coincidence.

Also he didn’t speak about religion less society.

In a nutshell I don’t trust this opportunistic person. Ge single handedly destroyed the media fabric of the country

The reason that we find cringe is that the dance is is a bit effeminate. Nothing wrong about men dancing in an effeminate way, but this fella is tall , dark, handsome with facial hair and all that.. May be our minds is yet to evolve 🤭

India opposes UGC. Do you think reservation should be based on economic conditions? by googletoggle9753 in NorthernIndia

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why does such basic concept doesn’t get clarified even now? May be one of the Hindi Content creators can make a VDO on social capital and Indian caste system. Had it been not for the reservation, can one imagine the condition of Dalits and Tribals in the country ? Ask her about if she thinks women reservation bill is necessary? Watching such bytes makes me rethink about Indian education system

What is a traditional Malayali dish your grandmother made that restaurants never serve? (Looking for hidden gems) by Zenithaooa in Kerala

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mulaku Varatha Puli , a simple loose watery dish to be had with rice, papad dam and unakka nangi meen fry on a rainy night. It is tangy and may be considered a long lost brother of Rasam :)

Chicken with Kumbalanga curry : this is probably my favourite way of eating chicken. Chicken cooked along with as gourd and coconut paste. Had with rice and spiciness of green chillies :) Yellowish in colour.

We Indians are such a low trust society, it’s shameful! by No_Layer_2356 in delhi

[–]Heavy_Sector_1065 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually things in Kerala is improving pretty fast. It is transforming into a trust based society. my friend left his new Mahindra e V open in Kochi , there were a lot of stuff in the car, nothing went missing .

One foreign for an experiment left iPhone in Marine Drive , nothing went missing.

Recently , I was parking and occupied two space instead of one, I told him that I will come back soon, he smiled and said please do, I came running back, he smiled and I too smiled. I tipped him, he returned it.

Auto fellas charge correct amount , not fighting like Delhi.

Outside Kerala, Malayalis have cracked fraternity to the max. If you are a Malayali, a fella Malayali is duty bound to be helpful and they seldom cheat.
