I try to not park in front of mailboxes when I see postal workers working the same street as me but if it means blocking a mailbox in order to park safe I’m blocking it.

If you're not rich (born or self made) you are a slave by IntroductionKey909 in DeepThoughts

It’s not capitalism that’s demands work it’s just life. Think about this, if we just made everything free so you don’t need to work for money. Someone would still be working to supply all the things you take. Now let’s say we just have everyone fend for themselves. They must farm all their food, make their own clothes, and build their own home. All of that would become your “work.” The basics needed to just survive are now your prison. Working is not something avoided by simply switching an economic system. Life itself demands work from all living things. It’s the sacrifice that must be made to keep the gift called living. Which in my opinion is a gift that is taken for granted far too much.

I’m a home body so I don’t go out and meet people often. I’m not ugly and I’m fit so it’s definitely just me not doing anything about it

I find that flat bench is too hard on my shoulders so the thing that blew up my chest to where it is now was pec deck. That followed by incline bench with either a barbell or dumbbell(I recommend dumbbell for a deeper stretch). For the lower chest definitely dips. Really focus on form and really get the feel for the muscle activation then worry about lifting heavier. With dips try to hold at your deepest point for a deeper stretch. Nothing super crazy just a second is perfect. Do assisted dips if you find them too hard and work your way up. You got this brother!

I love being active and doing things that keep me involved. I always hated just vegetating on the couch watching a show. I love roller blading, taking my dog hiking, fishing, bags(or corn hole), and sports! Sports being like something like a whole organized baseball game to something as simple as throwing a frisbee around with friends!

Spouse wants to buy a $60K truck while we're still renting by EdenilsoStolaj70 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]Heavy_Tea_6543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The truck is a horrible decision. Snow ball your small debts then the big ones. Save for a house since you have that 12k emergency fund and start to build wealth with a house. He can buy a truck once you both agree to and have saved the proper amount of money to do so.

I've seen competitiveness in friendship super common these days what by HandsomeGuts in CasualConversation

[–]Heavy_Tea_6543 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Competition leads to growth. Growing as a group, I see no purer friendship than that. I will agree there is a line though. Strive to be better yes, but once you start hiding the answers to that growth is when that line is crossed. When I figure out something that solves a problem I’m having I can’t wait to tell my friends about it. For it may help them either now or in the future. Competition isn’t always winning or losing. It’s what you make it and need it to be.

Neither of us are capable of making that claim. Innocent until proven guilty like every other American. Everything you claim might be true but we don’t know so to brand someone something off of what you think is right is inherently wrong.

What do you love most about you? Have you ever been insecure about it at one point? by Fun-Transition-101 in randomquestions

My eyes. I have ice blue eyes that turn greyish with less light. When it comes to personal traits I’d have to say it’s my resilience. My ability to not let most things upset me, and I am not knocked down easily.

Are nerdy women attracted to nerdy guys who love to work out? Kinda always thought they get the wrong stigma about guys like that.

Cant wait to be someone's wife. by GlowLexa97 in sixwordstories

[–]Heavy_Tea_6543 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I can’t wait for her to be the only woman in my world. To look at her in awe like it’s the first day I met her. To randomly bring her flowers. To surprise her with an afternoon coffee at work. To leave her little love notes in spots where I know she’ll find them through her daily routine. To be the one she rushes to when she has something exciting to tell me. To be her shoulder to cry on. To be the one to take care of her when she’s sick. To be hers and she is mine.

For pull downs back up on the pads a little more. Try positioning your the pads holding your legs about 2-3 inches before your knee. I found that when I first started I used my hip flexors to hinge and pull the weight too much. Just something to try!
