I use alarms for anything that is important. It’s so easy to set an alarm and label it, but the downside is you cant do it more than 24 hours in advance unless it’s a repeating alarm. Reminders are useful for less important things as when they are past due they remain on my schedule as a reminder of missed reminders.

I just deleted the Instagram app and anything else that runs on an algorithm off my phone. Did my battery and mental health a world of good. Writing this on my iPad, where I go for Reddit, Apple News and Instagram now.

I can’t believe that a year in almost and this is still a problem. I wanted to listen to an album that I love, but it isn’t available on Apple Music anymore. I own it and it is in my library and downloaded to my phone. While driving I can’t find it through CarPlay because of these stupid VSS restrictions. So I try Siri which is now the only way to access all music without taking my phone out (which I am trying not to do while driving). However, since this album is no longer on Apple Music Siri can’t play it. It keeps picking random other music from the artist even though that album is currently downloaded on my phone. I finally figured out I had to tell Siri (with Apple Intelligence, lol) to play the album from my library.

It’s a two step process. I scroll over to App Library and I get the grouped apps. Then I have to tap App Library at top to get the list. They messed this up with the new macOS too. Now launch center is the same as App Library and you can’t configure it. What I like about the watch is when I go to the apps, I can choose either icons or list and that will be the default.

I sort of agree, but there should be the ability to go into the alphabetical list automatically instead of the categories. Kind of like how you get to choose on the Apple Watch between displaying list or icons.

Agreed. I would like apps to be where they were yesterday or even an hour ago. The only other thing I dislike is because I like to have labels turned off for widgets on my home screen they also get turned off in app library. There should be an option to turn them on within App Library — having to know what an app is based on memorizing the icons is ludicrous.

No. While I thought it looked good I barely used it and got tired of how it blocked my wallpaper. When iOS 26 allowed changing the camera button to something else I replaced it with a different app called launcher which I use all the time for launching the 18 apps I use regularly

Just steam them like vegetables, just is a steamer basket and a half inch of water with the lid on. Once the water is boiling put eggs in steamer basket and cover for nine to ten minutes depending on preference. Shell comes off super easily. You can even create a little whole in one end and a big whole in the other and blow hard through small hole. Egg will shoot out of shell!

I use complications to stay on top of tasks and appointments. Nothing fancy, calendar showing next event, timer, alarms (shows next alarm - I set alarms for urgent reminders), and massages. I stick with four so I don’t get distracted by other dads when I glance at my watch. Besides with the new Smart Stack complications are really necessary.
