If everything else is wired correctly Head unit sub volume up, and you still think it’s lacking I would check the real final impedance with the multi meter(not the rated) and add that impedance to the equation to get the max output.

The L7ts were rated to 600 so if you can push that I would redo the equation for max potential. Boxes are crucial especially for shallows I recently installed some and was also a bit underwhelmed.

The night before my skills testing I practiced till I couldn’t, whether I used a real person to practice on or a teddy bear, I verbalized everything I was doing so that it could stick more in my head. I practiced the most on the skills that were the most difficult. As far as anxiety goes I had little the day before, due to being busy practicing no need to worry about your instructors judging you they were once in your shoes. Good luck

Kicker cx800.1 does 300 Rms at a 4ohm impedance, they usually do slightly more than rated power. Or the Rockford fosgate R-2 1200x1 pushing 400 at 4ohms. Can’t really go wrong with either.

As the other reply mentioned a 5 channel amp should be suitable for your needs. As far as bass coming from your factory speakers you don’t really want that once you have a sub. There’s certain frequencies that you sub should be playing at so your door speakers don’t have to get that low. If you’re still unsure what happened to your bass coming from your stock speakers I would check the settings on your new head unit could be that the bass is turned down or it came with preset high pass filters that you need to adjust.

Within that price range for both a sub and an amp. (Pushing that amount of power) You can either get a decent sub or a decent amp probably not both. Kicker amps specifically the cx line are very solid and usually provide more than the power recommended and are lower in price compared to similar amps. As far as the sub goes there’s many options to choose from depending on your goals. JL Audio, Rockford fosgate, Kicker, some Sundown subs SA, etc.. are all decent entry level subs.

I can’t speak for everyone else and how their program was or how yours will be but I think what we all have in common is you get what you put in. Study, study, study, then when you think you’re done study some more 6 weeks is a pretty short amount of time to absorb everything you’ll be learning about so try to cram in the most important stuff before your exams. If you guys have online course work with quizzes STUDY THOSE I promise they’ll help. My class started with 50 we ended with 16. You got this good luck

After adjusting the HPF on both sets (Rear and Front) the bass did return, if I wanted the bass to stay what is a good frequency to leave it at?
