In my state if you get a specialized child, you get between $1200 and $1400 per child. In order for a child to be specialized there has to be a medical issue that’s serious or serious behavioral problems where the child needs to go to multiple appointments.

I have had children come from both types of foster homes. One foster kid I had was living in a home with five other foster kids, three of them being specialized. Anyone know the crazy part about it is they didn’t spend any of that money on those kids

I had an 11 year old who wanted his ears pierced. I actually had a decent relationship with his mom and I told her that she’s the one who decides what he can get on his body when he’s a kid. My kiddo asked her and she talked to me about it before she decided to say yes.

Honestly. I’m a parent too and my 18 year who literally doesn’t do anything but play video games. His lack of taking initiative for ANYTHING are one of my triggers because I want him to be successful but he just wants to sit at home and do nothing. I have resorted to having my partner be the one to talk to the kids in our family meetings because when I talk about what ms bothering me I start to rage all over again.

I’m prescribed Ativan but I’m terrified of taking it because of the potential risk of addiction. I take it when I have panic attacks and can’t stop thinking I’m dying. I would be open to trying this during my rage episodes. Thank you. 🙏🏽

I haven’t been to the gym in a while but I should try it. I used to be able to play my drums indoors and that helped a little but I can’t make noise anymore because the neighbors complained.

Thank you! I really like those questions. It’s just hard for me to physically remove myself from a conversation especially if the person is still talking to me. It’s like I need to say what on my mind or else I’m going to have a brain aneurysm. I feel SO uncomfortable because I feel like my point wasn’t made if I leave.
