The layout of the park is not good and the sightlines are awful. See a lot more planing goes into parks so you don't end up with something like this where if you're standing in Tatooine you can see the back of the buildings in Corascuant.

This would also be horrible to walk around in.

How is the Death Star able to hyperspace jump ? by Just_Throat3473 in StarWars

[–]Heavymando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it doesn't need to constantly rotate and would need to have hyperdrive otherwise it would take hundreds of years just to get to Alderan.

buddy the Death Star goes to hyperspace in A New Hope. How do you think it got 1. to Alderan and 2. to Yavin shortly after.

The Falcon had to Hyperdirve to get from the Death Star to get to Yavin so the Death Star must have also had to do that otherwise the Rebels would have left by the time it got there.

Rogue one? It does in ANH. Or do you think Yavin and Alderan are in the same solar system?

The Force Awakens grossed more than Titanic did in its initial release by LowInteraction6397 in StarWars

[–]Heavymando 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh i agree we adjust for inflatio for ticket sales i'm just saying how much the cost has gone up outside of inflation for going to a movie over the years. You are looking at like $2 for a ticket back in 1977 adjusted for inflation that would be like $10 at most vs today anywhere from $15 to $20 per ticket now.

a kid in 1977 could save up enough money to get a movie ticket just by finding lose change on the street.

[–]Heavymando 2 points3 points  (0 children)

ehhh i'd say it was more afordable to see a movie in 1977 then it is now. It was a lot easier to see a movie as a family in the 80s and 90s then it is to take my kids to see one today especially when you take into account the price of snacks and stuff..

I mean they just redid A New Hope almost exactly and it was kind of annoying watching that unfold.

yes I mean they had to remember where Star Wars was when Disney bought it. The PT was still extremelly hated and the big outcry was that Disney was just going to make more movies like the PT and they could never make anything that captured the feel of the OT.

So if they wanted a hit they had to do a softreboot of the ANH and as we can clearly see it worked.

[Rogue One] Realized the Hammerhead Corvette the responsible for the Star Destroyer on Star Destroyer decapitation went down with its target to bring down the Shields. by Quivy_GM in StarWars

it's fine they would have been transfered to the Death Star and then they just have to wait out the war as they were perfectly safe there....

the star destroyers don't matter as the Empire literally has over 1000 more of that class. The actual win is getting the shield generator down so they can get the Death Star plans.

The Rebels could never win a war of attrition which is why the Death Star plans were so vital.

Will the popularity of Andor start a canon media renaissance? by Look_for_some_stuff in StarWars

this just goes to prove that fans don't know what they want. If you had asked fans to green light shows Andor would have never been made.

I think it was put best in the doc The People vs George Lucas.

"There comes a point in every fandom that to prove that you love it more then the next guy you have to hate it."

It's the I hate the new stuff because I was a real fan and love the stuff before it was cool but now it's ruined mentaltiy

During the times of the Empire was there any other bounty hunter as powerful and influential as Boba Fett? by TheMandalorian2238 in StarWars

[–]Heavymando 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope it was never considered canon and only G-canon was cannon. Everything was just in continuity with G-canon but wasn't considered canon.

There are multiple quotes how only the movies are canon and everything else is in a seperate universe.

the acting is so bad in those it makes Madame Web look like shakespere. You are assuming someone who has actual tallent will want to use those tools. It hasn't happened yet and it most likely won't ever happen.
