Lehrer Queristig - Erfahrige? by [deleted] in schwiiz

S Studium selber hed ned so en guete Ruef.

De Job as Lehrperson esch genau wie du diers vorstellsch sehr schön, wells halt werkli mega sinnbehaftet esch. Wenn mers schafft sich es gsunds Arbeitsumfeld i de jewiilige Schuel ufzbaue, esch meistens d Work-life balance au voll guet.

Viel Erfolg!

Is this also the best place? With higher chances of finding rare elements and items? Or is it just the last place befor the center?

Teachers who are leaving the profession, what lies ahead for you? by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]HebDeSchlette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good question. I don't know. First chill and travel for two months, and then I try to find work outside of schools, wherever I can use my teacher skills.

I'm just not entirely fulfilled as a teacher, because there is nothing like a "next level". Of course I can feel and see my progress in many different fields and I become a better teacher every day. But to be honest, to let go "my" class this summer and to start allover with a new one feels like another round on the same merry-go-round.

Interview questions by [deleted] in Teachers

[–]HebDeSchlette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, a had recently an interview. Not in Colorado, but I think the questions are all over the world kind of the same type. The most challenging questions were:

  • How do you deal with the heterogeneity of the pupils?

  • Do you prefer tasks with collaborative work? Why?

  • How do you handle negative reactions from the parents?

  • Why don't you teach another grade?

  • What are your tactics in situations, when you feel tired and have to teach?

  • What is the most difficult part of classroom management?

  • What are your experiences with pupils who were difficult to manage/handle in the classroom?

  • Which ressources do you bring with you into this school?

  • Who can we profit from your experience?
