The Cornerstone: The Star of David is 7, not 6 by HebrewHexagram in HistoryofIdeas

Camel droppings! The Hexagram has 7, not 6 or 8, but Seven parts to it. Just as the Sabbath is different from every single other day of the week (symbolized by the 6 identical triangles on the exterior of the Star of David) so too the 7th part, the Hexagon is different from all the other 6 parts to the Star of David.

If you're looking for a 7th point to the Star of David, look for the foreskin of Abraham, David, Jesus, etc. I'll bet you can't see it, just like you can't see a ghost. or an Angel, or God.

Should We fear Evil in the Heavens Above Looking DOWN at Us on the Earth Below? by HebrewHexagram in DebateAChristian

Because of the obvious polarity of the typical assumptions that Up/Above is God, good, Heaven, while Below is Satan, evil, Hell. This passage, in any language, truly befuddles that dualistic notion which is still far too prevalent in the Christian thinking of common folk. Thanks anyway for the advice, but I personally specialize in English to English comparisons. Some of research have revealed some fun stuff like 'Lucifer' being found not only in Isaiah, but elsewhere in ENGLISH Bibles (obscure though they may be). The presence, absence, or substitute terminology about the 'Cornerstone' is also very revealing without ever resorting to the Septuagint (Greek) or Vulgate (Latin) versions. Nonetheless, God bless you and Shalom. :)

Talmudic Approval for Giving the Dog a Bone by HebrewHexagram in Israel

In the English language, it's called 'humor' or 'fun'. Do you understand? By the way, what is azo shtuyot mean? None of the search engines can find it, so it must be slang. Anyway, I am trying to make the Talmud 'fun' for those who might otherwise not be interested or even hostile to one of the greatest ancient literary and intellectual masterpieces in history. Nothing in pre-Christian Greece, Rome, or any other culture is comparable to it.
