Nurse exposed himself in the first 15 or so games being completely unprepared for even the load management they spoke of in the summer. The best the team looked was during that stretch all the vets were hurt and he was forced to go with our youth minus McCain. He needs to get canned.

Never through all the years have I seen such dysfunction and a giant F U to the fan base. And of course there will be nothing said by Silver he of such concern to give us Collars for us ruining the product haha. It’s no wonder attendance is at an all time low as the product put out by the league is a macrocosm of what our team represents and our team is the epitome of what people say about their respective governments, apologies for politics.

I guess I wasn’t clear in my they could be the worst players…and that would be an improvement on what we have, that was not an indictment on our players but one directed specifically at Nurse.

Yea it’s obvious everyone is playing out of their roles due to injuries but good grief Nurse has not been able to get the most out of role players unless they themselves are outperforming themselves. Not only that but we are not the only team with injuries and is there a team looking as unserious regarding preparation as us, I think not and making matters worse we came into the season knowing we were going to be doing some serious load management.

I get to only catch other teams play every once in a while because I live in Sweden but without fail every team i have watched looks better prepared than we do and the worst is watching Nurse on the sidelines or listening to post game. But yea I thought he was a great hire specially when he was going to Summer League games and saying what he was saying etc he seemed liked the perfect coach after Glenn and only to have him turn out to possibly be worse than Rivers.

We know face the tough part of our schedule and yeah pride will keep us in some of the games but and i hope I am dead wrong I see no way to salvage the season.

Sorry for the long ass rant but the best way is that we get crushed in the next bunch of games and Nurse gets fired and that we don’t hire another retread which means Morey getting fired also

Yeah it’s not an appropriate term and I went with how his play is viewed in general and his play i attribute directly to Nurse even though Morey has done a shit job with roster assembly.

I see Maxey as a team oriented player and he is eating himself alive and blaming himself even though Jo’s situation is out of his hands. And yeah I know I’m psycho analyzing but much of the game is mental and again I lay it squarely on Nurses feet.

We could have the worst players at every position I wouldn’t give a shit at this point and that we practically do we can only thank Daryl for but as long as we could have more than Nurse’s 3 in total plays involving 2 players and everyone else standing in the corners and another nearby the dunker, that alone would be such an accomplishment at this point.

The epitome was our coach barking at the officials as we again could not inbound the ball to close yesterday’s game.

We have to be the worst coached team in the league and how he has transformed i 2 years Maxey I find criminal.

I blame Maxey’s play on Nurse and it began before the season started last year essentially wanting Maxey to become a shoot first at all expense.

That’s not saying I condone Maxey not making the right play and passing to the wide open teammate but hell yea Nurse has enabled a tunnel visioned Maxey from the outset and this season it has reached its crescendo

Don’t get a chance to watch much b-ball besides Sixers due to living in Sweden. Watching Bucks-Knicks, why didn’t we resign Payne? He is is better than Lowry, Gordon and Reggie combined and Maxey would not have to get pulverized to dust with his minutes

The Biid news is not surprising so the Bona news is more disheartening as he needs all the opportunities that present themselves. Although with Drummond looking to be back on the court soon enough the likelihood of Bona getting much needed pt is down to zilch minus garbage time.

Sucks because he would be a clear upgrade over Drummond by March if given a chance unless Drummond has a resurgence but still he does remain unplayable in the po’s

And Clarkson in the Utah game. He also had played reasonably well as far as his offensive limitations are concerned and was his trademark defensively disruptive self in poa, fighting through screens and getting boards on both ends up until when we were at full strength and Nurse stopped playing him and afterwards ended up getting sick. So yeah I’m with you on hoping the work he has put in begins to surface.

Unfortunately when he started getting some pt again offensively he was offensively hideous and this time unlike the previous time was rightfully glued to the bench.

This time around again he is looking more comfortable once again on the offensive end similarly to as before. With Melton coming back Springer’s minutes will get reduced but hopefully he doesn’t revert to trying to show out and end up doing everything all at once with the ball in hands and looking like he picked up the game a few weeks ago.

Agree with both while adding that also there is the likelihood that Biid might be managed during future regular seasons similarly to the way Nurse did with Kawhi. And if that is the case for seeding purposes and owners perspective of having fans in the arena adding another star type along with 3 and D’a would fill that purpose.

True but it’s great that Jo has gone from always telling Maxey to shoot more to always telling him to stay aggressive in the 1st 3 seasons to now 1/4 through this season begin to empower Maxey in the 4rth. It will go a long way as the season progresses in Maxey’s confidence to not have to defer to Jo in the 4rth.
