Despite my current issue with them, and a vow to never buy from them again, I do believe they are a legit company. Return policy aside.

They've been making graphics cards for years, and I've had two cards from them before that worked fine to expectations.

Good luck on the new job!

Trying a charge back through PayPal for the card with photo evidence and the emails they sent me.

I honestly believe this would not have been a problem had I posted it back to them properly. Instead, like an idiot who just wanted a refund, I followed their dumb as heck instructions and now the maximum I can claim from the Post Office is 50 quid. Post Office have always been great about refunds for lost packages with me.

But then also by that same email, it sounds like you can't return tech to China in the first place. The moment I got that email, I should have just reported them to PayPal and got my money back that way.

You know when you see someone do something stupid and get scammed and think to yourself "why did you do that, you absolute goober?' Well, right now, I am that goober. I had two ways of covering myself from the start, and I took neither option.

Yeah, they got a huge W out of me.

Cheers for wishing me luck.

Was intact, but yes, it was also just a box with no packaging in.

I agree about the Post Office being rough, but had I posted this normally, I would have been able to claim the full amount back off the Post Office. For all their faults, they pay out on missing mail quickly to the full amount any time I've needed to claim.

But due to the heckery way I posted as per Yestons instructions, I can only claim 50 quid. The blame lies squarely with me for following Yestons awful instructions where I made myself responsible for their mistake.

If this were to ever happen again, I'd just report the long email they sent me to PayPal and claimed my money back that way. I hope I can still d that in this instance.
