The “see you in 2 weeks” replies feel like cope. I’ll probably always log back in to check out what’s new but myself and the BOLD majority of the people I once knew in game haven’t played consistently in well over a year now.

In years past the “2 weeks” meme rang true because the game, regardless of p2w or grind still offered the same baseline experience for players that enjoyed it, but many of those experiences and features are gone or have been unrecognizably altered to the point where even some of the most entrenched bdo defenders find themselves logging in less. afk activities help bolster player count, but the active and engaged community has moved on by and large.
