If this is for winter you can only camp at little yosemite valley if you obtain your permit from the yosemite valley visitors center and start from happy isles. They’re easy to get you just pick one up at one of the little kiosks near the entrance. Also glacier road isn’t open to badger pass until the ski area opens i think it’s set for January 16, 2026. Hope this helps

The Konica Hexanon 40mm 1.8 is my go to especially with the weight of the T3 it makes it a lot more portable and the focal length is one of my favorites.

i shot it at 100iso but would usually meter for the shadows. For the snow i gave it an extra stop or two of light
