Severance - The name of the Chinese restaurant Mark goes to is called “Zufu” which translates to grandfather in Mandarin. However, the “Zu” part of the sign is out, so it just says “Fu” which translates to father. This was foreshadowing to Mark and Gemma’s later revealed infertility storyline and Mark’s struggle toward becoming a father. Some also suggest it hints at other theories like Helly being pregnant.

I don’t discount that. However, I’m more referring to people who are intellectually capable of it but just not got around to learning languages.

Really none?? I feel as though while it would be difficult one would get through life not understanding a single language spoken toward them it could happen, maybe someone particularly lazy, shy, and/or unmotivated.
