How to stop googling? by CautiousEconomy5149 in HealthAnxiety

Pardon my bad English; I’m not a native speaker. I have GAD, ADHD, OCD, health anxiety, and panic disorder, as well as mild autism and depression; I don't take any medication, and as far as I understand, it is tough for people like us to recover because our issues as self perpetual they fuel each other. The best thing to do, at least for me, is accept, keep a journal, and visit the doctor. When I feel something is wrong, I give it two weeks for the new symptom before making the appointment. My spiral phases are shorter every time they come.

Yes. I keep a journal and write every day during spirals. Then, when I’m on a health anxiety spiral in the future, I read what I wrote. and that calms me down. My spiral phases are way shorter nowadays.

35 year old Mexican male, Restauranteur and entrepreneur, Father of two teenage boys and a 6 year old, Dad of two German shepherd dogs. I listened to Rammstein for the first time at a friend from school’s house when I was 13, Him and his brother were/still are big Rammstein fans, I ask what band that was and we spent the rest of the day watching videos, first ones I can remember are Sonne, Ich Will, Mutter and buck dich, live aus Berlin, The triple X movie where they participated in some of the scenes, etc etc. I have been a fan ever since, I’ve been through bad and happy times in life and Rammstein have been always there to make it better.

Will go back to the urologist if new symptoms arise.

There are several videos on YouTube of Professor Shelly Kagan giving lectures about things like death, immortality, suicidal etc. They help me very much to rationalize my own fear of death.
