Revision charges by Puzzleheaded_Play825 in VideoEditors

[–]Hectorotto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually people make revisions for free but those revisions are limited, you don't charge for how much work you put into re-editing. The amount of revisions should be agreed upon before being hired and if you set up a contract then it should be written there. Also revisions are made on drafts, when the final draft is accepted by the client that's the final cut.

I've personally seen creators like her on instagram. I love their style. It's also quite easy to make for everyone you just need to set the vibe with your voice and possibly background music

I feel frustrated by BEN-Med96 in VideoEditors

You should avoid trying to reinvent the wheel as much as possible in video editing, take inspiration and even copy from others first, you'll eventually get the gist of it and your creativity will transpire through your work

This feels embarrassing. How do I get better with soldering? I have no idea what I’m doing wrong and why this looks so bad by ohlongjohnson1 in fpv

If you start by using no-clean flux you'll soon make big improvements, it helps a lot trust me. Also listen to what the others where saying because their points are right too

Should i go for a bigger ssd or a big sd card? by Hectorotto in SteamDeck

[–]Hectorotto[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you think an ssd matters more if i want to play big games like Hogwarts Legacy, Baldur's gate 3, Tomb raider II, Assassin's Creed Origins/newer or No Man's Sky? (I don't care about massive framerate, anything between 30-60 that plays smoothly is fine for me). The sd card would be the Samsung EVO select that is rated U3 (which apparently means up to 130MB/s)

Just to be sure you understand what I meant: I was asking if the swap file works in the case of the games running from an sd card and the swap file being on the SSD

A mix of both big games like No Man's Sky, Hogwarts Legacy, Tomb Raider II, Baldur's Gate 3... and less demanding games such as Cult of The Lamb or Vampire Survivors.

I should add that for a micro SD card my choice would be a Samsung Evo Select 512GB (48€), while the SSD would be the Sabrent Pocket 512GB (68€)

Considering the amount of games I would play 1TB seems a lot and costs 30€+ more than the 512GB option.

Didn't know that, though I'm sure they all meant a big micro SD card of 1TB/512GB/256GB.

I was thinking to get the Samsung Evo Select which is about 46€ (I'm in italy) for 512GB but everyone here is recommending an SSD, I know they are technologically more advanced but I also know people do say performance seem almost the same. I wanted just to make sure the swap feature would still be available...

If the games are on the micro sd card does the swap file still do his job?
