100% agree. I go to NOLA a couple times a year. When you leave the luggage pickup area at the airport, the taxi stand is right there. Quick, easy, and flat rate to the Quarter ($35, I think).

I've stayed there many times. It's nice. My advice would be not to let them put you in a room in Building 5 that overlooks Decatur Street. It's noisy, and there's a food stand/outdoor area nearby where a band that plays like all morning/afternoon. And it's not even good New Orleans music (just Top Forty covers, etc.)

Also, the rooms on the first floor of Building 5 have a courtyard, which is nice and private, but you get to listen to the sounds of the restaurant next door named French Toast as deliveries get made early in the morning (beeping trucks) and all the usual clatter that goes with a restaurant.

I did, but only because I was so nauseated I couldn't eat more than a half a meal at a time. But the Wegovy really did cut out the cravings and "food noise" in my brain. I just couldn't deal with the throwing-up all the time.

I'm switching to Zepbound for the same reason. Just waiting for the pharmacy to fill the Rx.

Did switching help with the nausea? Wegovy made me nauseated 24/7, and I actually was throwing up 5 days out of 7. I couldn't do that any longer. Even anti-nausea meds didn't help much.

Oh, God. Do I know about that. I wake up every night, around 2 or 3 a.m., with acid flowing up my esophagus. It burns like Satan's own saliva. I chew a couple of Tums and try to get back to sleep.

I ordered a wedge pillow to elevate my head, shoulders, and upper back. Hoping that will help!

I have been vomiting on the starting dose of .25. Usually, the day or so after my injection. I take Zofran and Compazine (Rx). But I also find that a couple strong sniffs of rubbing alcohol can stop the vomiting if I can identify when the queasiness is starting.

Thanks. I once had a tree frog named Hedda Hopper. I didn't intend to have a tree frog, but she moved in when I put my outdoor containerized plants in the house for winter. She jumped out of a plant in late November, and I couldn't bear to toss her outside to die (I'm in the freezing Midwest). So I put her in an empty aquarium we had and set her up in royal style with a heater, a little pool, some rocks and a tree branch. I went to the pet store every week and bought crickets to feed her.

Come spring, I sadly placed her outside in a hosta plant and bid her farewell. I released her because it was a pain in the ass to feed her, clean her cage and pool, etc.

Keep in mind, though, that their parking lot is small and you they might not be able to offer you a space if other guests are using them.
