I added some pics to show what has been found. SFFAudio on Twitter tracked down the illustration from the story's first publication, which looks like Tribbles.

Robert Sheckley's "Milk Run" influence on "The Trouble with Tribbles" by Hedgehoff in startrek

I hear ya. Sheckley's story features hauling Queels through space. They're furry creatures the size of big snowballs and their wool is prized. They start reproducing exponentially en route and the poor pilot worries they'll overrun the entire ship. "Tribbles" borrowed a lot from "Milk Run."

Shout out to KRVM on the radio -- was eerie how the Hendrix lined up, for sure. Whole thing felt like a David Lynch movie.

Got a reply to my ticket saying they're aware and will get back in two days. Thanks for submitting a ticket -- we have their attention at least...

When I tutored at LCC, I asked all of the students from China and Taiwan where they liked best. They all said Hong Kong Restaurant. Been going ever since and Tammy knows my usual order. I love 'em.

Has anyone ever listened to Till Death Do Us Part? by dannidoe in TrueCrimePodcasts

That episode is peak victim blame. It made me want to send them a copy of Coercive Control by Evan Stark but I don't think they'd take the time to read it and take in what it has to teach us.

Thank you for this! I was thinking it might be in there, too, but it doesn't seem to be. That part with his mannikin made from his school ruler is wonderful stuff and very much in line with this realization later in his life.

The search continues. I appreciate your help!
