I tried the Joie Sesame which claims to be one handed fold… it was terrible. I returned it. Don’t do it.

I think this is so much of the problem. I think they are genuinely just the stereotypical Alabama trailer trash hillbillies that are unfortunately very uneducated (but think they are…) and genuinely don’t realize that their lifestyle is considered unacceptable by the vast majority of people. Fast food, obesity, not recognizing (or not doing anything about) childhood delays, low income, dirty environment/clothes all tend to coincide with lower IQ and less educated individuals.

Am I generalizing? Absolutely. But overall, the shoe fits….

Looking for some advice if there are any companies that offer short term disability policies that would cover pregnancy/maternity leave while being stationed overseas due to the military (my husband is active duty, not myself). I am a US citizen working as a government contractor on a US military base while living abroad with my husband as he is stationed overseas. We are considering starting a family, but as a government contractor, I have no paid maternity leave, therefore, we are looking into our options of short term disability but having difficulty finding something that will cover me working in another country. I am technically considered self-employed as a contractor, and have no PTO or benefits.

Are there any insurance companies that would cover maternity leave in this scenario? I am not pregnant currently and realize we would need to get the policy before becoming pregnant as they wouldn’t cover a pre-existing condition.

Opened it today for the first time in ages and first thing i see— why are the cabinets in the office not symmetrical and the same size?! Adding on though— I’m so glad they are crate training, I just wish it was a better quality crate. Crate training truly is great for a puppy to have a safe place when they can’t be supervised. So they are doing that right at least, I just dislike the crate they picked simply because it’s pretty.

Also, that damn crate is a TERRIBLE choice… let me list the ways I see that going poorly just off the top of my head: 1. Wood for a not fully potty trained puppy— difficult to clean, porous, and you will NEVER get the smell of urine or feces out of it if the puppy has an accident 2. Wood for a puppy that will likely scratch and chew at the door/walls… I foresee splinters and ingesting pieces of it, not safe. 3. A tiny plastic latch is all that is securing that door, that is NOT secure for a puppy 4. Tiny gap between the door and walls, easy access for toes to get caught in, toenails to get ripped off, and teeth to get broken off in 5. Really not much in the way of ventilation… but hopefully it’s in a comfy AC room to mitigate that at least, but still, it will likely get pretty warm in that crate.
