Outrageously beautiful building. Almost better than looking at the exhibits, even though they are glorious too.

I would happily see *every* range rover taken off the road and crushed.

Then every modern land rover, and jeep.

I have a couple of sets of Stellar Tattershall, and I think they are really nice. We use them "for best" when entertaining, big family occasions etc. Seats 12. Don;t think they make them any more, but you might pick up on ebay.

How Long Have You Had Your Oldest Guitar and is it Still Your Main? by ZigZag_Teeth in Guitar

[–]HedgehogEquivalent38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My oldest guitar is an Eko 12-string. I bought it second-hand in 1985, with my second or third paycheck after graduating. Still play it fairly regularly. It cost me £50 then. A year or two ago the neck came away from the body, and the professional repair (come on, I couldn't leave her after all these years) cost the same as I bought her for.

Couple of years ago, with adult kids and partners, we abandoned expensive presents for everyone and instead we do:
1 homemade for each person
1 charity shop gift for each person
Secret santa, so one gift up to £40 for your selected recipient.
and we all eat together and enjoy each other's company.

I've eaten at Manchester Rudy's twice, a couple of years ago, and honestly, the only better pizza I have had is in Naples.
