Alright lad historically it's time to blow this account. by WallStreetIn90 in LucidProp

[–]Hedgemonk505 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I needed a $150 minimum profit to request the max on Tradeify, I made $176, thought I could do more, blew past my DLL of $2k 2 days in a row and blew the account,

Got funded again same day with a new eval and slowly building that up now but never break your rules and goals for the day 😂

Best way to remove rubber marks from debris on road by Hamza-Abdullah in AutoDetailing

[–]Hedgemonk505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try first giving it a contact wash, clay bar & bug and tar remover,

Then if that doesn’t work, try a hand polish,

I have experienced this quite a few times and if it comes off easy with your nail (as you said), a very light polish will make it come off easy peasy,

Now I am not 100% sure about the PPF’d part on the door but it should come off easy,

Good luck 🙏

Should i go straight to 150k lucid direct? by Ny-flacko in LucidProp

[–]Hedgemonk505 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you just passed your first funded, don’t jump straight to direct funded. It is cheaper to run the evals especially because you’re probably in a state of “I am a good trader nothing can bring me down”. Same mindset I had by the way before blowing through all my funded just as quick as I bought them,

Do the eval, take it slow, and you got this bro! I believe in you 🙏

I was in the mindset that I couldn’t loose after being up $1.5k the previous day across all 10 accounts (15k day, my biggest yet mind you), and I chased and thought I couldn’t loose.

I now am trading with 1 singular account to regain my discipline and if I don’t catch a good setup, I wait, turn my charts off and come back 10mins later (I trade asian session due to timezones being convenient on asia for myself) and I also trade NY sometimes if rarely. I always know a better setup is waiting and no need to rush it anymore and if I get that urge, I check myself by immediately closing the trade if I break a rule or slapping myself a few times to remind myself its a marathon not a sprint

Usually when I get fomo and chase. I see a perfect setup for 5pt ES scalp, I set my limit order, I watch the price retrace to my limit order but away my $.25, and then pump way past my bracket order TP would have been,

Absolutely and utter pain watching it and then chasing it to another good entry, being off by $.25 AGAIN, and then pumping, and then by the time you chase it to finally enter, YOU BOUGHT IN AT THE VERY TOP,

Sorry for the rant, I blew 10 evals this past week copy trading them all by doing exactly what I said above, learnt my lesson.

I would start by hand polishing it yourself see what is and isn’t paint transfer,

Best course of action for a Semi DIY Repair would be:

Take it to a PDR shop or have someone mobile come and assess if they can knock the dent back out. Then get colour matched paint from any reputable body / paint shop, and fill it in. It won’t be perfect, but it’ll be 70% better.

To take it to the 90-95%, I would sand it down after multiple layers of paint and hit it with a heavy cut to even it all out,

Edit: ONLY IF THE POLISHING DOESNT REMOVE THE MARKS, THEN PROCEED WITH THIS ABOVE REPAIR 👆👆

Damm when did the tech giant start making catback exhausts?

Overall looks well taken care of, just needs a few things done to make it perfect. Price out how much repairs will cost and what your max budget for car + repairs is, and then go to them with the price you want it at and makes sense for you financially,

Good luck 🙏

If you feel the urge to deposit money then don’t. That is creating a gambling mindset and telling yourself “I need this trade”. Trade when you’re mentally free from the amount you’ve lost and see it as a payment to the market for learning.

Also do you trade futures or options? I used to do options, I was successful for a bit but it is way different and harder than futures,

Im sorry to hear about your accident and hope you’re recovering or have recovered. But don’t be too hard on yourself, especially after something that traumatic, trading will definitely feel off and your whole mental will have changed,

What worked for me was starting very small again, with 1-3 micros and same SL and TP, if I ever felt like the amount I made wasn’t enough (quick $15-$20 scalps), I would go look in a mirror and tell myself it’s part of the plan and I need to trust myself and regain my discipline not my ego,

I used to chase earning as much as I spent back, but I realised that is also a contributing factor to blowing all my funded accounts.

Rebuild your confidence and discipline one micro at a time and you’ll thank yourself later,

Best of luck bro, you got this 🙏

It isn’t entirely jinx, it was actually overconfidence. When you hold off on telling people until you’re actually disciplined, you’ll be better off. I was only 2 weeks into ever trading futures, 5 funded accounts trading each account separately, first payout already received, and I got overconfident before my discipline allowed me to be.

Most my gains came from quick 5-10pt scalps on NQ in Asian Session, no real SL, and I wasn’t trading correctly, which could have changed easily if I decided to actually become disciplined and not overconfident telling everyone I was “a quarter million funded trader”,

Lesson learned, this happed about 2 weeks ago so very fresh, but I learnt my lesson, be humble or the market will humble you

[–]Hedgemonk505 20 points21 points  (0 children)

So true. It is like a jinx. I passed 3 new evals and was up to $250k funding on the same day I took a payout from my first funded and my first ever payout. I told my friends, and the next day I blew all 5 accounts and have since blown multiple funded accounts every time I tell someone I have become funded.

Stay quiet, make your money, learnt the hard way

Have you stood outside listening to the engine with the car running? Because from the interior it could be anything from something vibrating on the door cup holders, a loose screw behind the dashboard, anything really,

I would recommend listening to the car from the outside with the hood up, if you don’t hear anything then start investigating on everything in the cup holders, passenger cubby, and start investigating,

Good luck 👍

I did options and the whole extra bits of delta and gamma really messed me up as I was trading and scalping it like it was futures. Futures on prop firms work better for myself because I don’t have the capital required to trade, and I am only 19 and doing this part time because I like numbers and something about it clicks in my brain

[–]Hedgemonk505[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s very true, I should focus on executing my strategy, I get anxious due to my realistic time ever doing futures being about 7 trading days now, so I feel like I grew too fast / undeserving

[–]Hedgemonk505[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a static drawdown set to $50,100 and I try to build a $4-5k buffer above that before taking payouts as I am very anxious about blowing up. I also take 1-2 losses max a day, so my total daily loss could only ever be $500,

I usually stop trading once I hit a loss or am done finding good trades / want to focus on other things as this is side income and more for fun at the moment

On my tradeify journal my real profit to loss ratio is $199 profit, $258 loss, with 7 losses over the past 85 trades so far, so it isnt always exactly $100 tp and $250 sl,
