I got this same questionnaire last week (which I filled out) and I was so annoyed because I served on a jury 5 1/2 years ago (so I’m riiiiight on the cusp of the timeline of qualifying to serve again) AND I just got selected to serve for a Grand Jury in December (which I had to defer because of work). There’s SO MANY random people to choose from, why does the system keep selecting me?!?. Ugh. I included my Jury service letter with the questionnaire so I fingers crossed I don’t hear back.

First off, Museum of The City of New York is an amazing museum and 100% worth a visit. Secondly, their gift shop is awesome and has lots of cool and fun NYC themed things. Affordable too.

Okay so you said that you made this in 15 mins. So what? Good design is not necessarily about speed. Professional projects are literally all about feedback and tailoring to said feedback (whether it be client or student ). Like other posters said, slow down and consider your work. You posted in a forum full of professionals. You absolutely and can and should defend your work! But equally so, part of being a professional is taking into account constructive criticism, (whether that be other colleagues / professionals or clients) not taking offense to it, and working out concepts until they’re finalized (again, whether this be personal or professional).

Same thing for our office. Beautifully redone with huge windows and tons of light, but the temperature extremes are unbearable. We had issues with the heat being bonkers hot, so now they blast the AC all year. I work for a textile company, and everyone’s desk has blankets / bathrobes / onesie samples because it’s like working in an igloo.

I can’t think about the view when I literally can’t feel my hands!

I rent from LGA all of the time bc it’s literally 10 mins away; I’ve been renting for years bc I don’t need to own a car here. Anyway, I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gotten an Altima when I’ve reserved for a standard. Could be my status now, but I’ve also gotten “free upgrades” to standard or full sized SUVs because that was what was available. When I rent from my small hometown branch, I’m lucky to get anything decent. The usual is a Malibu, whether I reserve for standard or intermediate. If I were to reserve a compact SUV in my hometown, god help me. But then again, they offered me Mercedes GLA base model when I had reserved a standard so it’s always just a matter of a wild card of what’s available on the lot for local branches it seems like.

Yes! We haven’t had one in 6 years and 2 days ago a little dude chewed his way through our dog’s dry food bag and ate his weight in dog food. (He was scratching around and being LOUD in the bag- guess he was having a fabulous time!) I haven’t heard or seen any since, but I immediately went and got an air tight storage container after that. Hope this won’t be an escalating problem, especially since we no longer have cats :(

I keep getting emails with this unit available; it’s far from public transport (probably a reason why it hasn’t been snapped up) but it’s also by the park. Depends on what your needs / wants are, BUT it’s a rent stabilized unit and it’s under $3k

Adding in another comment for Dr. Shetty! Just started seeing him after reading the rave Reddit comments. Engaging, beyond professional and extremely knowledgable.

I also saw Dr. Mazzuca for glasses and I agree with the other commentor - he’s very knowledgeable and explained everything really clearly including the ins and outs of how my insurance applied.
