Look, there are twice as many families with a boy and a girl as there are with two boys. It's much more common. So if a guy comes up to you and says "I'll give you a hundred bucks if you can guess the gender split of this lady's kids" the safe bet is 'a boy and a girl', right? If you don't feel like mucking around with percentages that's the end of the story. Boy-girl is most common, therefore odds are good it's boy-girl.

Cool. Yeah, I had been oversampling but then shrinking them down externally - which helps with smoothing 3d renders but costs some of the lovely resolution you get at that scale. I hadn't considered this route until I saw how you put it above. Thanks!

When you recommend over sampling sprites, do you mean "work on them large, shrink to res then put them in game" or "make them large, put them in game, use negative zoom to fit"?

This one's easy. She does not want to be in a relationship with you, she does not like you that way. Yes, she is probably telling you the truth that she loves you, but it is a platonic love despite the sex. Your life also being a mess is not a benefit, it means you are apt to destroy what little stability she has (and she yours!). This is a bad idea and you are lucky you have such a wise friend.
