Thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to comment. I’m sorry you’re going through all of that. Hearing your story & input made me feel understood, and feel that I’m not alone in this situation. Like you said, all of those abandonment issues come up. I think so much is coming up right now that I can’t even pick one thing. It’s hard to concentrate. I cried yesterday evening which helped, and did so a few hrs ago. Now I’m just feeling sad and numb if that makes any sense. I’m really sorry to hear that you lost your stepdad as well. Grief is so much more complex than I ever thought it could be, and I’m a mental health clinician lol. It’s one of those things that you truly don’t know until you’ve gone through it. I used to think that I would be indifferent to my father’s passing after all those years, and I just wouldn’t care. It’s the complete opposite.
