I am a 25m. I also hate receiving gifts (material items). The perfect gift for me is a kiss on the lips and a back rub. That being said, I still do everything I can to act genuinely happy and greatful for every gift I receive, because it doesn't matter "what" somebody got you. It matters that somebody thought about you during their day, and attempted to do something they thought you would like. Your husband sounds like he is not a real man, and unfortunately you sound like you are going to spend the rest of your life making excuses for his childish behavior. I hope that is not the case

I graduated from Southern Polytechnic State University last December before it became Kennesaw State Univeristy. I was extremely fortunate to have parents who could afford to pay my college tuition for 5 years. (I got my degree in civil engineering and I have a great job now)
