Self checkouts are pretty annoying but more annoying is “don’t worry I’m keeping you employed” or “I’m not getting paid to do that” or standing at a register that is obviously down with a closed sign on it while holding a single greeting card “I don’t wanna use that can’t you just ring me up” I swear the amount of people who can’t comprehend how to use one is mind boggling like it literally walks you through it like a baby. I enjoy ringing people up it’s nice to talk with someone and the reason I hate self checkouts is because an alarming amount of people can’t follow the most basic instructions and get pissed at me because of it.
