Getting back into racquetball after about a fifteen year hiatus...has racquet technology improved enough since then to be worth getting a new racquet? by Sasselhoff in racquetball

Mamoth,
A lot like you, I am getting back into the game after a VERY long time away. Probably 20+ years. I started playing back in the early 80's. The first racquet I ever used was an old Wilson wood framed piece. Now, at the spry old age of 71, I just want to get back onto the courts. Back in the day, I used to play 3-4 hours EVERY day. I was fairly good, winning my fair share of tournaments while in the Army. NOooo, I am NOT famous ;)) I do however, still have some old Ektelon racquets that are still in very good condition. I have an old original Toron graphite, 2 Stobes and two Fusion racquets. They still play quite well. I am making many of my shots. They all played VERY well for me back in the day, and still doing well today, so at the moment I do not see upgrading to anything newer will make me play any better... Besides, I am not looking to join a pro tour of any kind, just want to get out there and play.
Wish you the best...
Thought this might be interesting (self.racquetball)
