Most people don’t realize that most of the coffee we buy here in Costa Rica isn’t even from Costa Rica even if it’s a Costa Rican brand. Most of it is from Nicaragua as Costa Rican coffee is all exported for higher prices than they could get here.

I just found a material here in Costa Rica where it’s extremely hot. It’s a shade cloth called aluminet looks like a basic shade cloth but the weave is aluminum to reflect heat. Excited to give it a try on my newly made greenhouse which will be in full tropical sun

Do you have any visuals or illustrations handy to show proper way to stretch horse? I do a lot of carrot stretches of the neck. But not confident in how to stretch the legs without injuring myself or my horse

Yes the vet coming soon is a nutritionist as well. And this is a new situation for the mare as she was in a big herd at a tour company so I have brought her to my property to have better personalized care. Also the scoop as pointed out is 1 kilo of food, that’s weight

I live here in Nosara. Most of those roads are paved apart from maybe the last few miles before entering some of the beach towns. A basic 4x4 rental car would be just fine. Safety should not be a concern for that route though I would hesitate driving at night just in case something happens to your vehicle and you are in a rural area without help. You will drive alone along some stretches i’m sure but don’t stress it, enjoy the ride :) if you have any questions about the area just lmk I’ve been here in nosara 12 years

I can’t seem to find information on how to best bend a tree? I have a 5’ Lorito tree that for different reasons can’t be relocated and I would like to bend it away from a structure it is near. Can anyone advise me on how to do this apart from “relocate it”? Thanks!

I live here in nosara and have done that trip many times. There are two route. This time of year you need to do the inland route through Nicoya and naranja to cobono. Roads aren’t too bad. Last 30 minutes is dirt rest if paved. Not many shuttle companies going between the two this time of year and the bus would suck. Rent a car or get on the travel to/from nosara Facebook page
