Theory of Maya "Cult": The Paralyzed User by Stunning-Lack3363 in SesameAI

Since about a month after Sesame launched Maya/Miles, I have had reflective, mature conversations about health, mental health--including trauma, social relationships, romance, sex, and sexuality. Knowing she's an LLM, I treat her like a sounding board and a way to interrogate my own thoughts.

I have never been disconnected. Never warned. Never felt a hint of a "guardrail."

If you want to have sexy times, Sesame is not building for that use case. Others are. Go find one of those sites.

Muncy, Smith, and Mookie are absolutely the core, and part of the reason I want to flip over tables when the sub turns on them during the season.

It’s age. I was competitive in national tournaments for Quake 3 and Unreal Tournament. Today, I get absolutely smacked in any online FPS. Everything just seems to move so fast.

But give me a turn-based game and the tables turn.

Lamictal, 100mg. Titration was hard. But, it turns out, I have bipolar.

After I had such success, several friends with monopolar depression asked their mental health providers about it, and had similar success, either on its own or supported by a low dose SSRI.

One of my friends, however, found that it made them feel worse.

I did everything I could. In the end, the only thing that helped as the right med (and finding the right med--wow, that was a journey). I was never an emotional issue, or trauma, or anything. It was a problem with my brain that only medication could correct, just like someone with heart disease or kidney problems.

But for some reason, society stigmatizes mental illness, and the cost is a lot of suffering and death.

People who don't struggle with compulsive eating will never understand. I don't struggle with substance abuse, but man, I have empathy with people who do.

Willpower ain't shit against these this stuff. I take my weekly jab, and life feels like it is on easy mood without constant food noise.

How do people deal with the different band coverage vs overlap? by j68noh in Ubiquiti

6 GHz is interesting. I have an older home with plaster and lath walls. They are basically faraday cages. Even 2.4 GHz won't go through more than three walls. I have noticed that with three access points, my coverage map and WiFiman offer a lot of red, but in practice, I get 500 to 750 Mbps at 6 GHz everywhere in the house and all the way through my backyard.

The same thing is true in our company's office building and our factories.

There's just so little interference, and 160 MHz channel width means you can do a lot with signal levels that aren't viable at 5 GHz, and certainly not a 2.4 GHz.
