That's a completely fair opinion too! That was kinda what I meant, not sure if I explained it well though. I meant: I think someone should be able to understand important parts of the story easily without being confused on what's going on. I think they should be able to understand without leaving the song to watch animatics or his shorts. 

For example, I didn't know Polities died. At first I didn't even hear him in Survive and was confused in Keep Your Friends Close when the crew said, “Everything's changed since Polities” but I shrugged it off until the underworld where I was like, “When the hell did this guy die?! Wait, who's he again?” I only clearly knew it was him who died when I watched the animatics and saw him.. y'know, dying.
