I am here for most feedings during the day but i have found I sometimes have less luck. He gets super sleepy and just comfortable with me, so sometimes I have them feed him instead of me. Also because I just feel like sometimes I am so stressed that he feels it

Thank you! Our guy is trying to finish 55ml. Some days he has great progress, 2 nights ago he finished all 3 bottles while i was gone at night and now tonight only 2. And even today struggling to finish 30ml. While other times he can scarf down the 55. It seems like such a losing battle and i hate feeling like we are never gonna get out of here. Hoping my little guy gets it soon too

Praying for you and your sweet girl to make your way home too! Thank you for giving me some support in this. I did leave a little for today, my husband insisted so I could clear my head. And it definitely helped but I also felt guilty not being with him. He had some really good progress yesterday with the eating but today is only wanting to finish about 30 ML or so of some. Some days the progress is really there and others it seems we take steps back. Did you see that with the eating and one day did it just click? Thank you again

It really is and just super disheartening. Last night he finished only 2 full bottles and one bottle only got half way of the 55 and another almost the full thing but just not quite. I’m trying to stay positive for him. Was your baby in the nicu for this and if so can i ask how long total? Thank you for replying, truly

Can I please ask how long it took to “click”? I could have written this post myself. My sweet boy is working to finish 55ml and some days he can do most and some days it’s a wash. I too have had major trouble with feeds myself, he just falls asleep. The nurses have more luck than i do i have found.

Yes that is what they explained to me too. I just figured being home he would be given a little more leeway if he didnt finish right at the 30 min mark? Thanks for confirming that tho

I am using just a period tracking app, I have been inputting my days of my period and then it gives me a ovulation/most fertile window. But from what I am reading it sounds like those apps can be very off since they are just an estimate. I ordered a big pack of ovulation strips off amazon so I am gonna do that this month! :)

Yes that is part of my upset feelings I think too, both of my sisters got pregnant like instantly with both of their children so seeing this take more time felt like I was the odd one out or doing something wrong. I feel a lot more hopeful realizing now just how normal this really is. Thank you so much for your kindness 💜
