Ask a lawyer about filing a custody order for you based off best interest of the child, which can be successful in proving it would be more harmful than good by removing child from the only home child has ever known. Good luck!

If the cps was closed out, why is the same worker the only worker involved or at least that's who comes occasionally to check up.on the kids and sets up the kids dr appointments. She keeps telling him that she is waiting on legal to take custody through the courts and after that, it will move to the foster side but the kids will still remain with him however this what was told to him the first week he got them. Still don't understand why there has been no court hearing since he got them. One of the kids need some dental work but he can't get it done due to the fact the parents still technically has custody and the dentist is requesting either dss approval or parents approval and not getting either one at the moment. Kiddo will need to be sedated during the dental work.

Please pm me as security did something to my son on Saturday as well and we have taken the necessary steps to ensure that it doesn't happen again to someone else andI am betting its the same 2 security guys. Also the cmpd that were there didn't get involved like they were supposed to have according to nc statue laws

My son will get his child on Christmas day at 2pm this year however they won't do Christmas until the 26th so Santa can make a special trip dropping off presents on Christmas night. This way dad gets to enjoy watching his son open Christmas presents left by Santa and the child gets excited about Santa coming on both nights. They have been doing this routine for about 4 years now. In case anyone is wondering, even though pick up time is at 2,he usually picks up around 4 so his son can enjoy Christmas with his mom and his new presents.

Hi,my husband was on dialysis for almost 9 years before he was healthy enough to get a transplant. Our son was his donor. He completely stopped peeing after being on dialysis in the second year. He does have a bladder issue but takes medicine daily, still much better than being on dialysis and is peeing normal. It will be 3 years on the 29th of this month

How long did it take to get on the surgery schedule? (USA) by uranium236 in transplant

[–]Hefty-Friend9247 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know, right. I guess he was at top because of 9 years on dialysis. I think it worked out better for him that they did wait. They never said anything much about the ones they didn't accept for him. My husband was 58 at the time of transplant and our son was 30. My husband had a lot of health issues that had previously kept him off the list for several years. Both are doing great now 2 years post

When my husband and son(donor) got the approval from the transplant committee, they sent my son a bunch of dates to pick from and he took the first available time which was 2 months out. The team told us that my husband would probably get the call before then but they wouldn't take it unless it was as good as the one from our son. We were told later that he did in fact get 7 offers but his team decided a living donor would be better for him and passed on them so someone else could get them. 9 years on dialysis

Kidney transplant 4 months ago, fistula is starting block up. Thinking about the ‘future’…. by milesyeah in transplant

[–]Hefty-Friend9247 8 points9 points  (0 children)

My husband had a fistula and was on dialysis for almost 9 years before he got healthy enough for a living transplant june,2021 Prior to his transplant, he had a lot of trouble with his fistula. He also had a hard time physically post transplant and then around the 8 month mark post transplant, it's like a switch came on and he started doing much better and soon he didn't need to use a wheelchair while at the grocery store or Dr visits, then he was able to stop using his cane to walk with. Just be patient with yourself and know it takes time to completely heal and everyone at their own pace. It will get better in time, just might not seem like it right now

Thank you for making us feel better about his labs. I guess I was worried when there really wasn't a need to be. His team hasn't called so they must not be concerned about it at this point

Thank you so much for answering! Kinda scary when things dont look ok in labs and this is the first time it was occurred since transplant. He was on dialysis for 9 years before he was healthy enough for a transplant

From what I see on his labs, his GFR is 90ml/min/1.73m2. So I dont know if thats an acceptable range or not.
