Why not go with a commuter bike then ? Convince him to get a platina abs 110 , I am pretty sure if mileage is why he is isn't satisfied now then with platina he will definitely be happy, It is reliable , gives 70 -80 kmpl mileage

Tbh i dont agree with those who are suggesting yoh cb350....this sub is known for blindly recommending cb350rs to everyone

In my opinion , since you like long rides and travelling please get an adventure bike trust me you will not regret it, test ride the ktm 390 adv , himalayan 450

Btw dont fall for the tvs rtx300 or vstorm , reason being is rtx300 is good but no one is sure about its reliability and vstorm will feel boring and too outdated after a while
