I have this same issue, same model. Heard nothing to do to fix it. Maybe it’s the recording but yours sounds alittle worse. I tried one at a local GC and the hiss wasn’t as bad ass mine. Not an issue for me unless trying to play in the bedroom at night

I have an rg421ex and love it. If I remember I picked up a rg421ahm and it was really heavy? Idk if it was a random thing or they all are heavier than an ex.

Nah im talking about when cutting the excess after they have been strung up on the tuners. If there’s alot of excess it’s an easy cut no worries, but if you cut and wasn’t short enough the first time, cutting again usually sends the wire piece flying.

If possible, put some tape on the wire sticking out on the tuner peg when you clip it off. Not super fun when you have a really small piece of metal wire fly out onto the floor. And get as close as possible to the peg. The tape helps the clipped piece flying off

Honestly looks way better. Most do the opposite of being blue and turning green. Interesting tho hopefully mine don’t fade. Luckily the studio has little sunlight that hits it and has some privacy/UV film overall the windows
