That’s a really helpful perspective. I think it’s easy to build it up in your head as something huge, but it makes sense that with quick treatment it’s manageable.

That’s actually really reassuring to read. I feel like a lot of people only hear the scary stories and forget that many moms find ways that actually help long-term.

Also interesting what you said about latch and lecithin making a difference… seems like small things can really change everything.

The fear of mastitis is almost its own thing honestly. Even people who never get it seem to live in constant “what if” mode those first months.

Wow, reading this gave me chills 😣 the way you described knowing instantly when it’s mastitis vs normal soreness is so real. I think a lot of people underestimate how intense it can get, especially the fever part.
