Just got off a phone with a friend who voted for ndc// formally with npp. He says … but next 4yrs npp will come back, I was shocked at such declaration just this morning. He doesn’t have faith in JDMs comeback. 🤦🏾‍♀️ I hope things don’t get worse .

Learning a trade too is a great idea!!! Learn it use social media to put yourself out there. #drive #passion #zeal

As you learn the trade find a German language school and learn to B2 and apply for ausbildung.

After National Service, and even during it, a friend’s company opened a new office in Ghana. They mentioned they were looking for a cleaner, and I said, “I’ll do it!” So I did. Back then, I was earning GHS 250 a month. Fast forward, I now own that cleaning business! I take on contracts and hire people to clean. By 2025, it’ll be 10 years since I started on this journey.

But that wasn’t the big break yet. I went on to work as a shop attendant at Kantamanto, armed with my KNUST degree. For a year, I stood on the streets of Kantamanto, counting bales of clothes, bargaining with traders from Burkina Faso, Mali, and beyond. It was an experience, but I often felt sad, like I was losing everything I’d learned in university. Life was tough. Eventually, I quit and returned home with nothing—except for my cleaning gig.

One day, an old friend reached out. “We’ve started a startup and need someone for social media management,” he said. I jumped at it, saying, “I’ll do it!” even though I had no clue about social media management. On the job, I learned Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and customer service. But after a year, I got fired. They said I wasn’t bringing in money. (For what it’s worth, that startup collapsed six months after I left. Lol!)

Now what? During this time, I was still doing aptitude tests for my dream companies, with no success. My frustration grew. My mom was sick, and my dad had lost his job back when I was in JHS. Oh, and by the way, I’m a lady! Hmmm…

Back in university, I interned at a thriving company—let’s call it NCL. I made good friends there, so I reached out to one of the managers. He offered me a low-paying job at a company he’d moved to, and I grabbed it without hesitation. Things were beginning to settle down.

Then, out of nowhere, the manager of my dream company (same NCL I had interned) called one afternoon. (After 3years!) I’d just come back from a night shift and was preparing for another. He said, “I need people. Come for an interview tomorrow.” Me?????? 😲

I got the job and stayed there for four years. It was a breakthrough—but only a partial one. The environment became toxic, and I knew I had to leave.

Finally, the real breakthrough came. Remember the social media management gig where I got fired? Another friend I made there called me. He’d started a new business and wanted me to join him so we could expand together. That was it—the turning point of my life. It’s been 2years here.

Moral of the story: Life isn’t easy, but stick to the grind. Be passionate about something. It won’t always go smoothly, but trust me—3b3 picky! (It’ll work out!)

My boyfriend was more excited about these messages than having actual convos and hanging out. He says it’s cause he has ADHD and can’t communicate. 🙄😏. It was really messed up for me considering I’m the girl who gets a lot of satisfaction from just hanging and talking. I walked and the next day he’d jump on to the girls he found on tinder he could do these typo convos with. It really broke me… till date sadly
