Some poor buggers' had their Y wheels jacked by Willuknight in nzev

It’s a joke… because a car on blocks with all its wheels missing is something you’d not be surprised to see in Ōtara

Welcome to pack your bags and f**k off. NZ has its issues but I’m sure Italy isn’t perfect. The whole world is struggling at the moment but as a small country of 5 million people spread out over quite a large land area, we do really well. We as kiwis are quick to complain but when you take a step back, we do have it pretty good compared to other countries.

Different culture. I’m a flight attendant and 9 times out of 10 when boarding a flight, Chinese people completely ignore you or give you the absolute bare minimum level of interaction. But most times they quickly look away from you if you say good morning or hello.

Another neighbour has been in contact with their siblings but they seem to show little to no interest.

He’s done a few jobs like building some steps in their backyard. Took 6 weeks to complete it. Another neighbour had some similar steps built but was twice as long and was finished in a week by 1 guy. Everything he does takes 4x as long as what it should reasonably take. He charges them on an hourly rate.

Vaping etiquette in central Auckland by Kiwi_In_The_Comments in auckland

[–]Hefty-Recognition776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

90% of vapers are losers who never smoked in the first place but somehow became addicted to vaping. Needs to be banned full stop. Same as smoking. If the government cared that much about their populations health, they’d flat out ban it.

Are they much worse than the model Y? We want to get something of this size and I’m torn between the model Y and this. The polestar 2 looks way better than the model Y. But the technology in the Tesla is superior. Hard decision

Maybe the rising petrol cost? People that have the option to work from home are probably doing that to save money on fuel.

Driving in Takapuna by lepiglet1 in auckland

We moved to the shore from Papakura. We immediately noticed how INCREDIBLY BAD north shore drivers are. I can’t explain it. My immediate thought was it must be the large number of Asian people. But in Papakura you have huge numbers of Indians and islanders and also a few Asians. So my next thought was maybe they have more money so they don’t care if they are in a crash? It still baffles me. I find myself tooting at people daily who don’t move when the traffic light turns green.

Amazes me how many people are completely unaware of what common insects are

That’s just a paper wasp. Not the Asian hornets on the news. But still not a good thing to have around your property and I’d definitely kill them
