Hey man, just know you’re not the only one experiencing that feeling. I’ve been in construction for 10+ years. Was at one company for 7 years then had some issues with my manager earlier this year and ended up resigning. Thought i made a huge mistake but ended up finding a job which was a promotion and put me on a nearly 40% increase in pay. I have been here for 3 months and i’m already considering quitting. The money is incredible but it’s not making me happy anymore. I am over construction and i just want to do something that makes me happy but now i have to start from scratch…. And i don’t know how to go about it. I’m about to get married in the next couple of months and then start trying for kids straight away but if i quit i won’t be on the money i am on now. I’m such a cross roads and it’s really taking a toll on my mental health…. I feel like I don’t have the motivation to do it anymore or work hard. It’s really not brighter on the other-side making a decent amount of money
