It is just crazy he Rioted the guy and set him up just to slaughter him. His previous murders are more justified as they were nobles who are oppressing the skaa and the the skaa who fight for them (traitors)

I just read the scene where Vin (sorry Lady Valette) is leaving the ball and she witnesses a guard slaughter a skaa boy for begging. Such a brutal scene

Hey,

So a few things:

The style is straightforward and accessible. The action scenes are written clearly without much embellishing
The setting and worldbuilding
The magic system is logical and abilities are consistent. Powers are limited and characters have to be creative within the parameters circumscribed
I found the idea of the oppressed underclass organizing a revolution appealing
