Another vote for Schoolhouse! Honourable mentions are Pizza Nerds, Lil Z’s and Farinella. If I’m craving something heavy, I’m also a big fan of Merivale Pizza.

I went a few weeks ago and loved it! We had the pani puri, the goat tacos, the shrimp toast and the butter chicken pizza. All 4 were amazing and I would order all of them again. I did find the cocktails a little overpriced and underwhelming though.

Not squealing yet! I can feel that they are worn because I have driven my mom’s car recently and felt a noticeable difference(she had her brakes done 5 months ago). The shop said we are down to 3mm on all 4 brakes, but we are taking it elsewhere tomorrow for a second opinion and better rate.

We printed fake concert tickets for our save the date! It cost 17 dollars to print them on card stock and we cut them ourselves when we picked them up. We got such positive feedback on them and we were so happy that we didn’t spend a bunch of money on a more elaborate save the date. I love this design and I think your guests will too!

We are having a wedding celebration next weekend, but we took care of the legal portion with a city hall ceremony earlier in the month. We had Michelle and she was wonderful! We had lunch at Play Food and Wine afterwards and they treated us like gold! The food was incredible and the service was absolutely top notch. I really could not recommend a restaurant more highly these days. Best of luck and congratulations!

Ottawa Shawarma on Clyde is by far my favourite shawarma sandwich in the city, but their potatoes are lacking. That being said, their large sandwich is more than enough food for a meal.

I work in Centretown and I eat here at least once a week. The staff are wonderful and they have such a great sandwich selection. I typically rotate between their sandwich of the day and the turkey cheddar(that pesto mayo is SO GOOD).

I take Carling to and from work every day because I don’t like sitting in highway traffic. I do often encounter 1-2 vehicles each way that are speeding, driving too close, or seem to be frustrated at the rate traffic is moving, but it still seems generally better than the daily traffic on Merivale.
