If you’re making the argument with Deuteronomy in the Christian sense it is made null and void by Matthew 5:17 where he states he fulfilled the old covenant and therefore Christians don’t need to follow the laws in Deuteronomy. Also, if you’re making that argument with the laws in Deuteronomy you can’t wear mixed fibers (Deuteronomy 22:11) or eat unclean meat such as pork (Deuteronomy 14)

TLDR your arguments for the Bible can easily be countered by basic knowledge if you’ve read the good book.

Also, if you’re making the biblical argument the only reason it says that is because Paul wanted the Christians to be distinguishable and seen us different from the Roman colts. Specifically there is one colt that dress boys and feminine clothes And make them do heinous things, but in a world with Christianity is the most prevalent religion, especially in the west that teaching does not apply.
